Newport Parkrun, Tredegar Park: inaugural event on 2 lap route of flat, mixed trail and hard surfaced course. Much slower than Cardiff Parkrun due to multi terrain, especially plod across ultra-soft bark-chipped section and sharp turns around cones near start and finish. Really a trail run minus the shit and mud, though might become more challenging after a monsoon! Course distance came out at 3.24 miles on Garmin, not sure why. Good alternative to Cardiff.
