Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

7.01, 7.01, 7.15, 7.07, 7.22 (biggest hills in first 5 miles), 7.15, 7.04, 7.04, 7.19, 7.13, 6.52, 6.51 (only predominantly downhill sectionl), 7.11, 7.21 (main hill on second lap), 7.13, 7.12, 7.22, 7.18, 7.11, 7.23, 7.29, 7.26, 7.12, 7.26, 7.51 (flagged massively on short uphill section), 7.27 (large uphill grass section and although I upped the pace after mile 24 I lost significant time due to the surface), 1.28 (left my sprint finish too late).

Ran it for fun/as training, rather than racing it. Was surprisingly comfortable after a poor first 5 miles in which I didn't feel sharp. Tried to hit 3:09:50 and only missed due to larger grass section than I remembered. Felt like the start of summer training rather than the end of Spring racing, which was good. Bit too cold and windy for my liking (started in jacket and wore hat throughout). Bit disappointed to miss 3:10, but not too bothered and enjoyed it.
Pricey
Hat????? Good running though and nice to hear you sounding positive about it.
Please wait... saving your change.
