Undulating course winding through a couple of estates and out into country Lanes. Two long hills with a mile long climb from 5 to 6 with a sting in the tail round the corner and a steady climb back up to the park along New Zeland Rd at the end.
broke 70% WAVA for the 1st time :) 5k 19:51, 10K 41:12 both of which are faster than my current PBs. 2 minute positive split but the updulations are in the second half so feel good about the effort I put in. lost a few places around 1/2 way when the glasses steamed up and I managed to pop a lens out trying to clean them on the run. overtaken by 2 with 300m to go and managed to reel one back in and beat him on the sprint in.
