The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Lune Valley 10m Race - Even hillier than expected, must be hilliest road race I've done. Time seems v slow but happy with effort in v hot conditions. 1st mile 8:00 uphill from football pitch out towards Howgill, 2nd 6:00 plenty downhill after turn back down to main road at 1.5m, 3 fairly flat along main road going over single track bridge and turn onto Firbank road, 4 & 5m v undulating out along Firbank road to old viaduct - av 7:10pm at 5m, a local runner warned about worst hills top come. 6 & 7m down to a great hump back bridge to cross back over River Lune then long climb up to join Howgill Road, then v undulating back along to Sedbergh, last 1.5m reverse of 1st, so last mile v fast downhill, poor hams after 9m slog. ====
