Notes & Comments

Race 2 of 5k series at Ferry Meadows again. Time is what was on the clock on finish waiting for official time as started my garmin 12 secs to late (but by that it would be 22.13). 22 secs better than two weeks ago so thats good and also a PB by 2 sec which is also very good, well pleased. Ran this race a lot better keeping an even pace and enjoyed it more. Last k was a battle with some girl who was in front, then I overtook, then she overtook me and I thought she had beaten me but I had a stronger sprint finish and ended up a few secs ahead at the line, woo hoo. Feel I could have gone faster and I think by the time Werrington 5k comes along should crack the 22mins target. Course much better toady as one lap rather than the two smaller laps done previously. Enjoyed and had sausage and chips for tea on way home :)
