Notes & Comments

Garmin back end had a wobble, took ages to sync at all then did it twice! Have deleted the duplicate.

Ten minutes slower than St Neots a few months ago, and I thought I was better trained than for that (perhaps with more of an eye to hilly off road racing than flat tarmac). Worst road half time since September 2012, for a total of 18 consecutive better than this. Disappointed in myself, but just a bad day at the office I guess, I haven't lost that much in three months!
No drive, runny nose that I kept swallowing until it nearly made me vom, stopped for a few minutes for a loo stop and got everything a bit back together, with no further walk breaks, but still finished half a minute per km slower than planned, never anywhere near target after kms 3-7.
