WOW! Massive PB!! on a very twisty turny course, but nice and cool, perfect racing weather in fact. Felt strong to 5k then worried i'd given everything, but somehow perked up and was strong again and coasting 7-9k, realised I was on for a PB and pegged it home! Great finish inside Pride Park stadium to the cheers of the crowds. Took about 10 people in the last 50m!! (Not that I'm competitive - oh no..) husband and sister-in-law also PB'd - a good family result!!
