Notes & Comments

Great fun again at Jedburgh 3 Peaks ultra relay. Leg 1 this time. And in mandatory fancy dress! Phil and Jon as rappers - MC Hammer and Ali G respectively and me and Andy as 118 118. Andy didn't do the knee high socks! And he took his wig off when running! It was pretty hot, right enough. And my tache only just lasted until the end of the leg! About 1:15:30, I think, forgot to stop Garmin and official relay splits not out. Jon definitely had toughest leg over Eildons with the wind and the Ali G outfit. And Phil was quick coming back. I want to see if he was quicker than me or not though! Poor Damo went off course too many times and decided to DNF. Lindsay went well. Graeme S had a tough day. Wee Anna was awesome, second lady. And the two Wally teams were fab. :-) G
