Well this was a different experience. I knew the race was off-road and I was expecting mostly trail - but around 75% was across thick grass with a bit of mud. I found the going really hard, the closest I've been to cross-country since a kid. So the time wasn't as quick as I'd hoped, although still fast enough for a distance PB. Finished 9th of 141, just overtaken on the line so once again lacking a fast finish. I think I could use more runs like this to build strength.
