parkrun #163 - Chadderton Hall (2nd run)

Well I wasn't expecting that! Ran on heart rate rather than pace given the course and ended up in P3 and a very impressive run. Ran hard all the way but couldn't quite catch P2 but pleased with the run as HRM showes it was a hard run, and it felt it.

Course was slippy due to the rain, the corner by the river was tough and ended up taking a very wide line mostly on the grass also hard getting grip up the hill. Think in better conditions there is still a better time to be had.

Positions don't normally bother me but when I found myself in P4 midway through the first lap I thought I'd see what I could do.

Legs are feeling it now (12pm!)
