Notes & Comments
BUPA GREAT NORTH RUN
This was my first half marathon race. Felt slightly nervous at the start of this race as I knew what was to come. Off to a comfortable start but nearer end the hot weather started to take its toll. Mile 10 onwards was a real struggle and sometimes had to resort to walking for a few seconds. Conditions were sunny but really warm. A great race but very busy. A great benchmark and achievment completing this race. Original target was a sub 2 hours so happy with time.
