Right, what was this run again? Oh yeah, VLM!! So the story was: ran well to 6, then Ken had tight calf. 8:40s. Stopped to try and stretch off and did 9:20 ave to 9.5, but then had to walk to 10.5. Ran to 13.5 9:40 ave. Walked to 14.2, then ran to 16 @9.40 ave. Walked 16 to 25.5 but at 13:20 ave, then ran 25.5 to 27 (very long!) in 9:45 ave.
Great determination by Ken to push on through the injury. Very fast walking, when he walked and a great finish time, considering. Wonderful chat, co-operation and steely determination made it a very rewarding experience. Thanks Ken and David! :-)G
