Had a great nights sleep going to bed at about 10... for breakfast i had just morning bars and lucozade and breakfast bars...<br>

As i lined up I was going over in my mind how far i'd come since New year and before I knew it the race had started... really good start hit the first 5k split in 19mins... same for the next 5k.... then 10-15k mark it took me 24 minutes... where i lost a fair chunk of time... picked up between 15-20k and got it done ion 22mins... the last mile killed me... running into the wind was horrible just had no more energy... oh and the carb gel at 7miles REALLY helped.<br>

Extremely happy with the results... even if i needed only 10 seconds to get the sub 1:30 grail... but im not that bothered this is a PB and an amazing result... stat wise I shouldn't even be near 1.30.. my quads ache a little but other than that I feel fine... very happy and I have no fear at all that my next race i can get the sub 1:30 133/5676
