Garmin isn't good with snorkelling - at least not if you use 'open water swim' as the activity. Since your arms are largely static it just ignores you.
While in Croatia I found the 955 was a lot better than the old 935 at tracking underwater.
This is a Fẽnix 7 which is generationally closer to the 955? I had this swimming too. If I wasn’t moving my arms it wasn’t interested.
