Notes & Comments

Telford 10k

First 10k race since October, and having done 1:13:19 in training this week, I'd set a target of 1:12, which (if achieved) would set me up for 1:10:00 in two weeks' time at the next one. Surpassed both of these, ran it in 1:08:55, which was 4½ minutes faster than my training run and 47 seconds faster than October's 10k. Still struggling to maintain pace over this distance, but that will come with more training. In the meantime, a better day than expected.
