Midweek road racing league. My first race aged 50, though had to compete as M40 because series started before my birthday. Torrential rain for half hour or so before race started - had to take care not to become an accident statistic with path slippery in places and many puddles with uncertain footing... Given heavy training and no speed work currently, very pleased with outcome.
