About this parkrun

A gorgeous, yet very hilly Parkrun. Perfect for an early morning jolly just to be grateful that you're fit and well enough to run and not too worried about your time. Lovely cafe with discount for Park runners

Awesome. Although if you dont like hills then maybe not for you. A gut busting run through Wendover Woods. Beautiful and a superb uphill finish.

Beautiful course, some moderately testing undulations, great running surface on the trails. Start is a bit of a distance from the carpark, but well-organised. Really friendly parkrun, nice low numbers. And the Gruffalo!

One lap through the woods at Wendover. Plenty of downhill to start, followed by a long uphill to finish. Lovely cafe for afterwards

Single lapper on hard packed sometimes uneven forest trail. Down first (quite steep and hard to run), up from half way (isn't easy either]. Beautiful woods. Car park is quite a way off the main road so leave extra time. Can use Glide app for parking

I adore Wendover Woods, their traditional St. Andrew's Day event is always a highlight. The course is very technically demanding with 2 long and steep downhill sections that require nimble feet and good shoes to negotiate without having to slow down
