Two Ferries Road Race

ClaireT Cracking little low key race (about 80 runners), starting at Trislaig Ferry and finishing 10.8miles later at Corran ferry in Ardgour - near Fort William. Terrific warm welcome from the organisers and locals. It would be a beautiful route on a nice day, but today was constant rain, with low level cloud and deafening strong head-winds in parts. I was overtaken by an Oban girl at 2 miles and she disappeared into the distance but I was able to reel her in again passing her at 9 miles to finish first lady only 19 seconds ahead. A very tough race, close to vomitting in parts, and got absolutly soaked. but still fun all the same! :)

John Kynaston Enjoyed this race but conditions were tugh with the wind against the whole way. Pleased with my time as I build up to the Loch Ness Marathon
