PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Dochart Changing, baggage check & showers all available at RHQ in Pewsey Vale school. The first half of the route through the vale is pretty flat with the highlight being a stream crossing to the accompaniment of a bloke bawling at us through a megaphone swiftly followed by a knee-deep wade through what looked like mud but smelled like slurry. The second half of the route consisted of a series of ascents and descents of the scarp, the ascents mostly too steep to run, with the final descent a muddy glissade back into the vale. Three water stations, friendly marshalls and plenty of mud but the route seemed rather contrived. 231/740

Em Not sure Im very acurate here with time have no idea how long it will take, dont feel confident, due to illness have not trained as much as I would have liked.*****Update******
Very out with time, mud followed by mud followed by water followed by mud, mud and hills, mud and water. Funnily enough I really enjoyed this despite the nearly waste high water near the start, Running Postie didnt think I would like this but I just bimbled round and chatted to friendly people, only problem was getting musd in shoes though as I have a real fobia about things in my shoes and touching my feet!!! Well run race, nice marshalls and nice people on the course.

Konaboy Stewth that was hard work. It wasn't the hills that were the problem - it was the claggy mud. Couldn't enjoy the views at all as I just had to watch my step for almost the entire course. Sort of enjoyed the whole masochistic experience though. Brilliant organisation by PVRC with a big event feel & cakes at the end a most welcome treat. Dare say I'll be back next year.

Tia The Terminator off road race through lots of mud, up huge hills and even wading across a stream or two.
Great day out, weather was fab, runners and marshalls very friendly and encouraging. My hubby and kids also enjoyed themselves having a swim in the school/sports center pool at race HQ during the race.
