cake muncher Placed 9th / 5th vet. One of the worst races I have ever run! Not a patch on the old Perth 10K. Poorly organised with a lack of marshals, direction arrows, distance markers....the list goes on! Needless to say I won't be back in a hurry!!!

Debstir Hoping to sneak out during my lunch break to run this! Sneak out I did, and I'm glad I did. Much nicer route than before - all traffic-free and mostly on the cycle path. No running past the smelly harbour this time (or work!). Good club turnout, shame I couldn't hang about to catch up with everyone - had to get back to work!! Really pleased with my time - over 3 minutes faster than the Forfar 10k just a matter of weeks ago :-)

Lexo Directions to the place were a bit hard to come by and Start was a bit treacherous and almost went head over a** a couple of times down the grassy slope. Pity there were no markers as am trying to pace myself a bit better but found this hard as had no idea how far i had run. Went for a sprint finish when i saw the stand but then realised i had about three hundred meters to go and ground to a halt about ten yards out...Nice to finish under the stand and plenty of local vocal encouragement and the course was nice and flat and a welcome change from all the hilly runs I seem to do these days. Further Update; as far as i can tell the results for the race have not been posted either which is a bit rubbish!
