automatic shoes Set off conservatively as I was expecting quite a tough course. But, tho' an undulating course, it was a fair one - there did seem to be a downhill for every uphill. Admittedly I did walk up the hill at 8k. But I did finish quite strongly - last 1.85k in under 10 minutes. 115th out of 189.

BrianJ Forgot Garmin, might have tried harder to get under the hour otherwise. However wasn't fully going for this with the Clanger next week. Not an easy course, felt like it was continuously uphill from 2-7K with a nasty surprise at 8K
