Alun Started sensibly (or maybe not??) before pushing on through the first of the short laps, took places throughout the second short lap and the first long lap before tiring into the final long lap, not helped by the torrential downpour in the final 1½ km. Lost a place on the line as I was out sprinted by a youngster, rude...🤣 Finished 87th overall, 7th M50 and 11th club scorer (out of 12). Two weeks until race 2 at Somerhill School.
