berlin boy Enjoyed the race immensely, as it was my very first Half Marathon I was a bit apprehensive but the views of Arran and the other runners got me through in a respectable time. Looking forward to another challenge in the Berlin Marathon end of September Finally well done to everyone who took part and especially to the organisers who made it possible

ClaireT Great wee local event. Scenic course and great running conditions. Found the hills a bit tough on the legs but enjoyed it all the same. Finished 3rd lady.

Girvan Ruth Well organised race, with really friendly people. Course was tough but views were wonderful the few times I lifted my head and looked.

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Machrie Moor Road 3 Alan F 0. Yet again that road got me. Moving along quite nicely until I hit the moor road then wham, back to reality. Felt great relieve when back on main road then started to pick up pace again. A course PB by about 18 seconds However it is a great local race and a smashing day out. (apart from the bar on the boat being closed on the way back. Good performances from the other Fetchies in the race. My Garmin measured a bit short (12.9)but it may be because the group Iwas in took every inside line and I stopped to drink at the stations causing the Garmin to pause.
