bigmunnki I suppose that this was the start of the attempted comeback. Had a little to much to drink the night before and a hacking cough that I had been trying to shake for 2 weeks. Not the best performance.

Crash Hamster Hereford NYD 10k, a lovely if 'not exactly flat' 10k that I use to judge what shape I'm in at the start of the year. Broke my personal course record by 90 sec and missed an outright PB by 31 sec, which means I'd have PBd on a flatter course. Not bad off nothing other than aerobic training :o) HR ave 169 max 183; time by my watch, not official.

Iron Squishy A beautiful morning for a run! Hip not very happy really, hurt from about 2-3k but eased back and just enjoyed it, wishing all the marshals a Happy New Year LOL! A lovely race, rather hilly but it is Herefordshire! Another coaster to the collection! (gave it away to a dear old man).
