Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

AlB Started feeling a bit bad (hangover). Took the first two miles steadily, then picked up a bit (I think) and finishded strong - but should have started to speed up sooner. Theres always next time! BUT legs are fine and it cleared the head - excellent.

MarkC Training for a new PB here. UPDATE: Nailed it by over a minute! (Official time, now confirmed). I let everyone whizz past me in Mile 1, just making myself stick to around 6:45min per mile, then reeled them all in again. Good smooth sub-7 min miling all the way, despite the warm sunshine, but struggled a bit in mile 4. Now I wish I'd pushed a little harder to get under 34 mins! Thanks for the bets, guys, it spurred me on.

SparkyMark mmmmmmm week after marathon. will my legs have fallen off? Just so I complete club championships. *UPDATE* Sorry, I think I may have set off too quick, but I was aiming for 6:45s which was a bit ambitious - well if you don't try, you don't get. Fab conditions and great course. 6:28 for first mile and it was pain from then. was ok to 3 but then faded in last 2. I could not have gone any quicker today. Still more than 2 mins quicker than last year.
