_andy That was dead good that was. Ran to the race-track as a warm-up, but it was *so* dark at 9pm that I cadged a lift back home. Great race, great cakes, many Fetchies. Great to meet Kaypie, DaveK, Fatboarder, Scottnbn and see too many others to name (I'd only forget someone and feel bad). 47s off last year's time, so still heading in the right direction.

Baza A chance to run around a racing circuit! Mmm the BTCC cars were clocking 54secs on Sunday(16/08). Best so far is 22:22, but i think I'm running better so fingers crossed. *Update* Great race, great course - Really enjoyed this one. Great to see a good Fetch turnout too, so well done on all the fantastic runs. Great feed afterwards too, well done Carnegie Harriers for another great event.

clairevmc Absolutely brilliantly organised race and lots of friendly people from Carnegie Harriers. I won in a time approx. 1 min faster than I had expected to run. I knew the course from driving it but it's a hilly one to run and there was a biting headwind for much of the way. Ran very even laps and I'm delighted that this is my first ever sub-6 min/mile average paced race. Great post-race buffet and very welcome hot coffee given how cold it was on the course. Loved this one!

Runnersleep Out of shape big style but first race for me this year and just want to get round Update - 3 lung busting laps in 33.25 so guess quite happy considering training. Great to meet lots of Fetchies - couldnt catch any of them though!
