maisie this is a slow course and faster runners than me suggested it was long. Had a rubbish run the worst for 9 years but the course itself was lovely and the race was homey.

Roadrunner Bark I finished In 2ND Place, 7 seconds from a PB! Though my Garmin measured 6.25 Miles... I was also the 1ST Senior-Male Overall as the guy that won It was a Veteran. He won the Race In 35.25 with me approx 200 metres away. I started off quite steady siting Into 4th place keeping an eye on the leaders then my legs felt a wee bit heavy from my recent 'Belfast-Marathon' at about 2 miles. After half-way I moved Into third then I had a good battle with the runner that finished 3rd as we were battering on back and forward! I came up to the hill with about 1 mile to go and I let myself go and I continued thereafter to power myself to a good 2ND Position. The Race was more like Trail I would say and apart from a couple of hills was mostly Flat.I got £10 for my efforts.A very enjoyable Race.

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Disappointed with this effort, a few seconds slower than last year. Garmin 6.24 so close enough for me but a tough course.

Just did not have lungs or legs for it, does not bode well for Edinburgh, tou I suppose arrivng as the race started did not help.
