Alan Managed to accidentally stop my watch during a pit stop early on, so could only go by the current pace for most of the race, otherwise I might have pushed it a bit more near the end to get under 1:25. Didn't enjoy the course, except for the picturesque parts, but too much use of narrow pathways and muddy ground for a city marathon.

Impossible is Nothing Strong west wind messed around with pace but ran a good consistent effort. Felt steady rather than hard as hoped for. The course seems definitely short and would have been more like 1:29 or 1:29:30 which was target at start.

WildeRover Currently thinking it was a bit short. I was losing the odd 0.1 to the mile markers consistently, but I think between 5 and 6 was a chunk more and I suspect there was another one later on. My guess is the bit between 5 and 6 was where we went through the petrol station, just off Caerleon bridge. The course maps suggested we should follow the wall to the end of the path. That would have been about 150m short - another oddity like that and the difference would just about be accounted for.
