AllyB Cold, wet day but enjoyable race even with the multiple laps and the water that tasted of mouthwash! Thought the finish was going to be further into the park than what it was so didn't get a chance to sprint home. Might've been nice to have a 400m/200m to go sign or sommat.. emmilou Get IN!!!! The girl done good :-) second ever road race and stuck with sub 8 minute miling all the way round averaged 7:52 and saved enough for what is fast becomming the notorious sprint finish!! Boring course though round in circles - sting in the tail at the end of each lap! All the fell running helped with the hill in that resect but still finding it odd to maintain a steady pace and not have anything to climb over and wade through! Well run and well marshalled even on this shocking day - weather awful, got drenched and wind a bit of a nuiscance!! so what's that then sub 1:15 next time???!! :-) Lostock AC 1:19:00 1:19:00 1:30:00 1:19:00 62.53
