Badger As a local, can't miss this. Will be a long-ish run in my Edinburgh preparation. I don't expect to be up for the full marathon version that early (it's still 12 weeks ahead of Embra). Nice. Great weather and good going underfoot on the off-road bits. Garmin say 13.02 miles but I have rounded it up; must check what the route looks like and see if it lost track in woody bits or something. Thought I was flagging at about 9 miles but actually I'd turned the pace up a little bit and I guess I was feeling that. 2 mins inside my target time - this was a training run not an all-out race for me so 20 mins off a PB is not a worry :) The niggling calf was absolutely fine, a few random leg twinges but nothing to worrry about.

BenDy First race back after hamstring trouble & a severe bout of laziness, as long as it's under 2 hours I'll be happy. I made it but only just, was in all sorts of trouble from 11 miles....
