About this parkrun
Two laps in grounds of Belton House. Flat, with gravel and grassy paths. A good course for dogs to accompany well-behaved owners.Zeb 2nd Jan 2019
2 laps, mostly flat, run on grass, dirt track and large gravel stones. Some wear trail shoes in autumn/winter. 'Molehills' on the back straight can be hard to get a rhythm on. Lapping back markers generally easy. Popular with Canicross runners.

Two flat laps around the land at Belton House. Can be difficult to run fast on some uneven grass after the driveway section, but pan flat without seriously twisty corners. Road shoes mostly, but might need trail if it was wet and muddy.

Can recommend popping across to the garden centre opposite on the main road for breakfast afterwards! And the cakes are fab!

2 laps around the grounds of Belton House. Plenty of space for faster runners to overtake

2 laps of hard surface gravel/track/road and grass, uneven along the grass sections. Nice views.

Not much to see other than the House, flat but uneven terrain, unable to hear anything from the RD due to all the barking dogs. Good cafe a converted stables by the looks of things. Plenty of parking.
Foxy 25th Feb 2023
As others have said, though the RD now has an amplifier to drown out the barking dogs!
