BK brighter days ahead: Almost... the council stopped maintaining the gardens a few years ago and left them to overgrow until a local volunteer group including many runners stepped in. We spend a day a week replanting and tidying the place up. -

swittle: Thanks for your dedication and the information. Local parks in Sefton, where I live, still benefit from regular maintenance. Fortunate are we indeed still to have open, green spaces.
