Mini Nico's latest creation had more than a hint of a cobbler about it
It was in fact, garlic dough balls. A Paul Ainsworth recipe with 2 bulbs of garlic and 2 packs of butter.

Back to the birth of the industrial revolution at Arkwright's Mill in Cromford: My great-great-great grandfather* was a mason who moved from the North East to Cromford in the 1830s. Whilst I can't prove it, I can only imagine he moved to work for Arkwright.
* In truth he wasn't my ggggrandfather. He was my ggggrandmother's husband, but he died 18 months before my gggrandfather was born. That didn't stop my gggrandfather listing him as his father on all official records.
