I can do double unders due to muscle memory. Learnt to do them as a a child. I definitely can't do 200 without stopping at the moment. The 6 year old me learnt to do them by jumping off my Granmother's patio onto the lawn. A step down of about 6 inches.

They are a staple of the cardio elements of CrossFit. There are various set workouts that include “double unders”. A famous one is called “Annie” and is 50-40-30-20-10 reps of sit ups then double unders. I’ve done it doing “single unders” but I can’t really tick it off until I can sit out doubles.

A project for the summer!

Well I've got no further with double unders but this morning I managed 528 unbroken singles, which isn't too bad.

My calves are on fire now but that’s a secondary concern isn’t it?😬
