Literally as I walked to the tube station on Sunday after sauntering my way around the marathon I started to feel a cough taking hold, which exploded into a full on head cold and as the gift that keeps on giving has now added conjunctivitis, tonsillitis, a blocked ear and a cold sore to its list of attractive ailments.
Anyone else feeling sorry for themselves while soldiering on?

I had a corker last month. It lasted 3 weeks and was harsher than my usual winter cold.

I have been suffering for weeks, still got a bit of a cough. Antibiotics helped. Many bugs around here at the moment.

I keep expecting to feel better, and it doesn't help that if I go out for a walk and cough (in the open air and not close to anyone) it feels like I'm doing something illegal/taboo.

I had a really horrible one last month too. Lasted 2 weeks because it hung around on my chest.

I also had a horrible one about a month ago. Can't remember when I last had one. Used to have one a year when still in London, but since moving to a thinly populated area, I rarely have one.
