Nidderdale Walk: Pateley Bridge to High Crag Ridge (Poppy pics)

Fairly civilised start to the day, weather looks good so off to Pateley Bridge for a walk.

From the town, we head along the River Nidd. Thankfully we put Poppy back on the lead before we got to the duck pond!



Stiff climb through lovely woods, Poppy could be off the lead in here and she had a good crash around.





This leads up onto the moor, I wanted to go 'collect' the Trig point up here.







Back onto the Nidderdale Way, past Yorkes Folly



...and into town for fish n chips.



Successful outing.

This route would be an excellent run...

Talking of which, I haven't run yet, but when I do it will just be a short one as I'm doing a fell race tomorrow. My hill fitness is in the bin, so I have a feeling I could be last! 🤣😂
