I’m a crap swimmer.
I was last out the water at my first triathlon (luckily there were some steps up the cliff at St Mawes so I wasn’t actually last!).
I hate the faff of getting changed and swimming is so complicated with its reps and sets and paces that I really don’t understand and definitely can’t judge.
But I’m going to get better!
I’m going to struggle with pool access this year so… new toy!
First thoughts. I won’t be asked to model it. I had my toes very firmly planted to balance. Maybe I will get some core strength at some point.
The paddles take a bit of getting used to thinking they’ll fall off but I could SEE where and how my arms and hands SHOULD move.
I also worked up quite a sweat in only 5 minutes and could feel my back-shoulder muscles ‘activated’. So I have incorporated this into the plan. Hopefully I’ll see some gainz!
