Don't do resolutions. Nonsense. Like dry January and dieting. If you're drinking too much, eating badly, you have all year to do something about it, if you did too much of that in December, guess what. Don't.

Not resolutions. 2022 in brackets.

2000 miles walking (1860)
1000 cycling (380)
1250 running (870)
50 new pubs (49!)

I will probably not meet any of those, they are guides, no point having a target you're bound to meet. That's like having an exam everyone passes. No value. No point in it existing.

Mind you, one thing I need to do is widen my reading a bit, not that book club, reading someone else's suggestion stuff, just different things. Mantel was ace last year. Back in the day I read a lot of Aykroyd. Similar. Read The Giant O'brien over Christmas. Not so good. True(ish).

I also need a post baking new project. Duo is going better. I like the new layout. Stockport, bring in the impoverished North, I could not find lessons locally.

Written 3 months of suggestions for the uni club who gave it the ok.

Only 10 missing......

P.S. I wrote a blog called Ginger Asbo about a working class lad who fucked a woman behind the pub, snorted cocaine, got into fights with his brother, blackmailed his family, boasted about killing 25 people he considered sub human when he was in the army putting his family and other people at risk, and wears Nazi uniforms for a 'laugh', and then thought the complete wanker wasn't worth the effort.

Got something to say?

Starting running more seriously during march 2007.Since then I have run 102 races, and even XC! Joined Cirencester AC in March 2009, and the training sessions had a great effect, especially on my speed. Mara time 4:14, Half Marathon 1:39.03, 10k now 44.04, 5k now 21.01. Never won the Cirencester AC Road Champs, RU twice, but now never will because I live in Stockport and I am a Harrier thereof. Really have no plans at all to run Marathons again, but would link 1-35 for a half, and 20.30 for 5k. My perennial probelm with running, islong runs, I do not like them! Ten miles is good for me, if I could crack that little foible I would improve considerably. CiRF qualified, level 3 Event Group qualified, plus MA in Sport and Exercise. I am unsure where this Masters will lead, as of now, nowhere. However, I am amazed at what running has done for me. Dedicated hiker, 1000 miles a year, pub visitor, 59 new pubs a year and beer and wine drinker, if training allows :-).Running took a massive hit summer 2019, several doctors appointments didn't find turn out as I would wish, as I had Prostate Cancer and slight coronary Heart Disease. Medication from Sept 2019, to March 202, operation March 2020. Radiotherapy finished May 2020, first set of tests back were good, PSA normal. Next test June. Running ever so slowly coming back, June 2020 saw me run 42 minutes for 5k, I can squeak under 30 now, March 2021!
