Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

On the first day of Christmas...

Favourite present:
I'd always wanted a saxophone, and some years back OH bought me one as a surprise birthday present. Since then I've been torturing the neighbours with it. This is me and another neighbour, "treating" everyone to a Christmas concert!

Day 2: Boxing Day outing: Out for the day.

Day 3: Angel. My angel after Boxing Day. She melts my heart.

Day 4: Nativity scene: Well, not quite Nativity in the traditional sense, but I'm claiming these three walkers as the 3 Kings delivering gifts.
One, at least, is a Prince!

Day 5: 5 gold rings... well, not actually gold, and there are more than 5, but tyres are a sort of ring...

Day 6: Christmas wreath
(There were actually quite a few of these, maybe even 5, and so I could have used them for the "5 gold rings", but somehow this is the only one on my phone).

Day 7: Winter Wonderland! No snow locally since well before Christmas, but this is the next best thing:

Day 8: Resolutions. One of my resolutions is to visit more parkruns! And maybe come across a few more Fetchies on the way.

Day 9: Outdoor/alternative Christmas tree. This phonebox was done up like a Christmas tree:
Alternatively, there's this: It's outdoors, and a Christmas tree:

Day 10: Reindeer... I don't think the reindeer are likely to come out around here because of this:

Day 11: Chocolate! This one needs more explanation. Bear with me. It's the Mad Squirrel logo.
They do a nice ale, Hoodwink, which is a white CHOCOLATE stout.Very nice it is, too.

Day 12: a dozen (or more...?)

Got something to say?
