They're not really eggs, but they are vaguely the right shape, and they are my favourite chocolates.
Beautifully boxed, handmade - they were my Christmas gift from Leaflet. Being both beautifully boxed and handmade they are a bit eye-wateringly expensive, so I savour each one!! Rose & violet creams in case you were wondering.
Today has been another nice day off - yoga to start with, plus some extra stretching as my legs were definitely feeling the after effects of last night's track training.
Made some soup for lunch - broccoli and cheese (to further reduce the cheese mountain). At one point the weather looked as if it might be nice enough to take the bikes for a spin, but no sooner was that thought spoken the rain clouds gathered.
I did decide to take myself for an extra couple of easy miles before RR though. It was weirdly quite warm but pretty windy, and it stayed dry. We had quite a good turnout tonight including one returning from a long-term back injury, and one new to us runner. I'm not sure he had the best time, as despite my best efforts to convince him he could just potter along I think he pushed a bit too hard in the middle mile and ran out of puff a bit! Mr AL lost out on his second run of the week as Mum's boiler had stopped working. With the help of YouTube he managed to restart it - but has yet to run this year

2024 - Going well so far - loving running at the moment. Still coaching, still supported by Mr AL, Twiglet and Leaflet. Whole family now run - even Bonnie the dog sometimes.Profile | Blog | Other Blogs
