Catching up before the big and last reveal tomorrow.
Day 9 - an outdoors, alternative Christmas tree
Instead of getting one every year, plant one of these in your garden. You’ll never need to buy another tree, although best to put the lights on when it’s planted. With a long lead.
Or an alternate, one for the birds. Without decorations, it would only confuse them.
Day 10 - a reindeer, or just a deer. However any animal that you can link to Christmas will be great.
Well, I spent most of my waking, walking and running time hunting deer.
But, as a follow on from Day 9, here’s one I also took.
Off Roader : What’s that on the window?
Um : It’s rain, dear.
I’ll be sending that to Big Leggy for his feature spot in December.
Or, another alternate. For the first time this year I had my own photo printed on a Christmas Card and had my own personal cards. Since numbers are so far down now, it’s not such a great cost (when ordered at half price) and it’s ‘sort of good’ that the actual card is more valuable than the stamp!
And an Xmas flavour? One of our neighbours …
Day 11 – today! – Easter – chocolate
I’m rich
Readers of my blog may have been following the letters …. Here’s Day 11
Oi! You!
I don’t know how you found me. Did I do something to you that made you hate me? I am trying to go through my whole life to think of what I did to deserve this, but I can find nothing.
I know I once said I liked birds. Maybe I even said it would be nice to see ladies dancing. But I never said I liked pipe music. Never. Ever.
Yet there are eleven pipers, piping, outside my window now. One of them is holding a partridge. I think the partridge is mocking me.
Please stop!
