When I lived in Africa there would be safari locations that had so many impala, gazelle, kudu and assorted bok that we'd just use the catch all term 'DLC' or 'Deer Like Creature' to cover our inability to tell one from another. Today's challenge was therefore to find a seasonal DLC.
It would be pretty unlikely to be able to capture a live deer on a run with Belle, though some recorded sound of said creature crashing through the brush pursued by a border collie night be a possibility.
Picture only possible on a dog free walk!
If I wanted to spend the day climbing Cairngorm I might meet one of these fellows, but it would be a shame not to have the faithful collie along for that adventure.
I wondered about public decorations but there was nothing suitable around town. So in the end we'll have to make do with a creature that interests Belle without her giving chase 
.
