Ok an outdoors alternate tree..... its our old Xmas tree. It is bit rubbish now due to neglect.
Got a new smaller one for this year.
Got up nice and early to get open water swim in. The sky had cleared and it was lovely. Very very cold. The rain has not warmed the lake that is for sure.
The water level is as high as I can remember seeing it in past few years too. The sign is normally 6-12 inches clear of the lake.
Great day. Back to work tomorrow. Sigh. I love my job but the break has been lovely

I started running at the the end of May 2012. I have never enjoyed running much in the past but was challenged to run a 10k in September. I thought this was good motivation.Have managed to lose a chunk of weight and feel miles better. Love going out for hard run after tough day at work.New aim is to see how far i can push myself
