Today, Mr Ness and I decided we both needed a bit of a rest. We'd both done quite a bit of walking and weight training in the first couple of days on holiday so we were feeling a bit tired. We had a morning resting on poolside terrace and this afternoon a siesta in the hotel room.
After my afternoon nap, I got thinking about the treasure hunt photo for today. I need to ... "find some rings. Oh, five of them would be nice. And it would be even better if they were....err Gold 😀"
I could go out and look for something a little quirky or different. I could just open the hotel safe and pull out the rings that were in there. I opted for the latter....
The rings I bought with me to wear.
In the middle of the bottom row is my wedding band, which I wear most of the time. I take it off while weight training because its 18ct gold and I don't want it to get knocked out of shape. To the left of it, is my engagement ring, bought by Mr Ness for me in 1994. To the right of it is my eternity ring. Can't remember when Mr Ness bought that but it was some time after the other two.
Top row, has a ring my sister bought with her pocket money when we were teenagers. Can't remember why she didn't want to wear it any more but mum gave it me a while ago and I've worn it since. The last one is a diamond and aquamarine dress ring, I bought with money given to me from my granddad's estate when he passed away in 2006. I only wear it for special occasions.
So there you have it. Five gold rings. Only one worn every day but all very precious to me.

A fifty-something retired teacher who took up running to improve the muscle tone in her legs after a hip resurfacing op in 2003. It all started with a 'Race for Life' 5k, that I took part in to raise money in memory of my Dad.In 2005 I discovered the Fetcheveryone site, and thanks to the help and support of Fetchies, my running has moved on a bit since then.
