Day 3: your objective is to find an Angel!
I haven't seen any angels on Christmas trees or in lights as far as I can recall, so I had a think and thought of a place where I would almost certainly find some. I planned a route for a 30 mile bike ride and then dithered and procrastinated and fiddled around for so long that it was 3pm and I only had time for a short walk before I needed to be back to finish preparing for our visitors this evening.
Some of the morning and most of the afternoon had been taken up with trying to work out how to convert songs on my Apple playlists into MP3 files to download onto my new Shokz Open swim headphones. I found a way after about 3 hours and then a glance at the instruction manual and I noticed that you could download various formats including the one that Apple uses. It took about 10 minutes then to load 100 or so tunes and work out how to shuffle, switch from one folder of tunes to another and how to change the EZ from "general" to "swim mode".
I think I'm going to enjoy them
By then, I'd done 217 steps for the day (partly because I'd left my watch in the bathroom after my shower this morning and hadn't noticed for Quite Some Time. So I went out on my angel hunt.
I headed to the dead centre of the village first and found a few
Then up and down some roads and cul-de-sacs just in case someone had a glowing celestial body. Nope. But I did spot this outside the Methodist chapel.
No angel on it, but I thought that there should have been.
On the way back home, one last attempt and I spotted this in a neighbours garden
Day 3 ✅
I've now got 5280 steps for the day and our friends are arriving in half an hours, so I'd best do some kitchen marching.
Laters.
