Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My first Fetch Treasure Hunt blog will be a short one because it's travelling day. We stayed at the Novotel last night and only had to get up at 5 o'clock to get to the airport for our morning flight so not painfully early. Got through to the departure lounge hopefully of our usual Sunday Wetherspoons breakfast, only to find 'Spoons was closed! 😯

Fortunately there was a Giraffe (think that's what it was called). .. that did a reasonable substitute...

Flight took off on schedule. We had paid for a taxi transfer so we're at the hotel by just after three this afternoon.

I then had time to look at the treasure hunt. First challenge....

"First Day of Christmas, we would like a picture of your favourite gift (given or received) and an explanation why."

That was easy I opened my case and found out my Fetch Secret Santa gift.

Although I will have other lovely Xmas gifts, the thought and care that goes into the Fetch Secret Santa gift always bowls me over so I make sure that that gift comes with me even if I don't have room in my case for my other Christmas presents. 😉😁 This year, I was given ....

Some beautiful hand dyed wool. My secret Santa knows how much I've enjoyed my knitting and crochet projects recently. I will really enjoy finding something special to use this wool on. So thank you very much Secret Santa. I love my gift. x

Gala buffet dinner in the hotel so I'll have to catch up with Fetch bloggage later. Whatever you're doing, hope it's a lovely day. x

In 2005 I discovered the Fetcheveryone site, and thanks to the help and support of Fetchies, my running has moved on a bit since then.
