End of summer. Fin de fiesta. Time to get back to work.
Swim: 9km
Bike: 416km
Run: 105km
Walk: 12km
Total: 37hrs
Books:
Malibu Rising
The Club
Wim Hof
4000 weeks
Chasing Kona
Diet: Poor
Wins:
El Agua Restaurant
Hotel Vincci Albayzin
Lay-z-Spa
Painted Fence
Potted Trees
Victorious Festival - Suede/Sam Ryder/Libertines/Foo Fighterz/Sophie Ellie Baxter
Kid's Scout Camp
Time to get to work.
122 days until end of year.
22 days until my work birthday.
Then 100 days until end of the year.
I will probably be away from home for 60 days with work.
This month I can expect a new role offer for 2023.
Looking ahead I think I'll sign up for Portsmouth Coastal Marathon.
Soundtrack:
Suede: She Still Leads me On google.co.uk
August by Ms Taylor Swift
Salt air
And the rust on your door
I never needed anything more
Whispers
Of "Are you sure?"
"Never have I ever before"
But I can see us
Lost in the memory
August slipped away into a moment in time
'Cause it was never mine
And I can see us twisted in bedsheets
August sipped away
Like a bottle of wine
'Cause you were never mine
Back when we were still changing for the better
Wanting was enough
For me, it was enough
To live for the hope of it all
Cancel plans just in case you'd call
And say "Meet me behind the mall"
So much for summer love, and saying, "Us"
'Cause you weren't mine to lose
You weren't mine to lose
