After a couple of photos I realised another themed treasure hunt was on here. Can you spot it...?
1) Crown
In Northill. Finishing point of the Greensand Ridge Relay. Used to do nice food but not been there for years.
2) Ladder
Crux move for the theme. Whilst I was happy to do a 50 mile round trip cycle to find "Rosehip Road" for January's street signs, there was no way I was going to Falmouth to get a photo of the Jacob's Ladder Inn. So this was the best I could do - the Loft Café Bar in Shefford. I reckon you'd need a ladder if you wanted to visit the first floor.
3) Mirrored/reflective
I think you could see you face in a nice shiny bell. But you'd probably look a bit weird on account of the curved surface.
4) Bluebells
Only one bluebell. This one in Bedford - snapped during a quick run between the matinee and evening performances of last week's show.
5) A mythical creature or figure
George and the Dragon. This pair in Bedford.
6) Eyes
In the Queen's Head in Sandy. Also a crown!
7) Something embedded in a wall
Brewery plaque - several to choose from on my travels. Also a crown!
8) A colour written as a word
White horse in Southill.
Black horse in Ireland (local village, not the country).
Green man in Stanford.
White hart in Shefford.
I was also hunting after a red lion in Biggleswade, but it has closed down.
9) A ghost sign
More of a skeleton sign than a ghost sign... The former Locomotive in Deepdale. Went to a quiz here about 20 years ago, but it closed soon after.
10) Revival - a category of your choice from a previous treasure hunt
From last month - a hero - Sir William Peel VC.
Thanks for the clues Tom Tom - I enjoyed that (would probably have enjoyed it more had I stopped for a drink at each one). I might have another go before the end of the month.
