Tough one from folkieboater this month - but got there with some lateral thinking and a few chance discoveries.
1. Trapped
... although hopefully for no more than an hour at Sandy's number one (and only) escape room attraction:
2. Under Pressure
Intermediate pressure in this case (between 2 and 7 bar):
And high pressure (between 7 and 70 bar) here:
3. Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now
Unless we want to go spear fishing, place a smelly fish in a shallow dish, or take part in the famous Sandy fish relay, where competitors must carry a 10lb carp under their arm - in which case Biggleswade & Hitchin District Angling Association is most definitely going to stop us.
4. The Only Way is Up
I'm in equal measure somewhat intrigued and disturbed by the 'connect' element - which if I were a user I'm not sure I would entirely welcome.
5. Go Wild in the Country
... in the Wild Play Trail at the RSPB nature reserve. But do it safely!
6. Winner Takes it All
... in the fiercely competitive world of best kept road. A somewhat intermittent performance from Rutland Gardens...
... trumped by Bickerdikes Gardens...
7. Every Breath You Take
... in this shop must be through a face mask for the time being.
8. Relax
At the new-ish Turkish barber in town. Hot towel - yes. Massage - yes. Ear flame - maybe not!
9. When the Going Gets Tough
... talk to someone.
This was taken by the railway crossing on Biggleswade Common, where over the years some people have tragically found the going got too tough
10. Work out the link between the others and pick something that fits
80's night at the local social club:
And something else that fits (from the newspaper rack outside the Co-Op):
I hadn't realised that it didn't make number one in the UK singles charts until New Year's Day 2021 - over 36 years after its original release.
Thanks for a challenging set of clues folkieboater - and it was nice to have some tunes going through my head as I looked for them!
