Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thirty days has September,
June, and November (probably - I've done all the photos),
January, March and May had thirty-one,
And February it's normal twenty-eight
But April had forty-six, July seventy-one, August fifty-two,
So only fifty-nine for October is about normal for this year...

1. Trains

Near the station...

2. Boats

At Limassol, while jogging round the running track on our cruise ship before disembarking.

3. Planes

If in doubt - street names!

The Avro Avocet (intra-war prototype naval fighter), Dassault Falcon (business jet), Hawker Siddeley Harrier (jump jet), BAe Systems Hawk (as used by the Red Arrows), Bell Boeing Osprey (tilt rotor) and Shorts Sunderland (flying boat).

4. Wheels

'Sculpture' outside Sandy station.

5. Foot

The City Ground football stadium, taken on a very early morning run round Nottingham while I was there for a rare work visit.

6. Leg

Struggled for inspiration - so had to settle for mine - complete with a perspective that makes it look as though I have tiny feet.

7. Arm

Pub sign / road sign combo...

8. Head

Another pub sign / road sign combo...

9. Want

Sandy Neighbourhood Plan wants you...

10. Lots

... of painted pebbles in the memorial garden by the parcel office.

Thanks for another great set of clues Lazy Daisy. November will be along in a day or two. It's a good one!
